I wrote how much I liked your game on the LD page a while ago. Glad it's come to NG!
Hey, don't listen to the critics, this is amazing! Monochrome gameboy colors combined with 3D is something I've never seen done, or at least done with this much flair. The game itself is solid too - it's simple yet I never feel like I can master/break it. I wish there was a high score table. Consider porting this to Ipad if you have a license, even without any modifications it would be one of those super stylish party-trick games you can show friends over a meal. Well done!
Simple and decent. You sure know how to use particle effects and screenshakes to liven up a game! I didn't even realise you could hold down the button until 500 metres I think, despite the clever hint in terms of the menu button.. (maybe it was too clever) and even then I was able to survive up to then without needing to use it. Maybe have creatures that can only be taken down with a fully charged sword.
Very nice visual style!
lol love the singaporean accents! the rhythm game itself is pretty bad, it isn't even synced to the rhythm! which is kind of the main point if youre going to call it a rhythm game, but the video is an awesome effort la! nice quiz too haha, congrats
Any game which gets syncing to the music right deserves top marks. Love how the bullet speed is also affected, it gives a slow motion effect. Which library did you use, SiON? Standingwave3?
I only used standard as3 Sound and SoundChannel class, even not use SoundMixer. xD
About sound syncing I don't think this game is good. Your game is better than mine, so much more better! I think I'm lucky that people on NG like Beat Chaser and I'm really happy!
Sorry for my English and thank you so much fizzd!
Played maybe ten levels. Love how you have to use momentum in some stages by bouncing to the left first! Twas a nice three minute diversion :)
